We’re delighted to announce that Portlethen’s Place To Eat is returning as the official sponsor of Chuck-A-Puck for the 25/26 season.
Chuck-A-Puck remains our most popular off-ice competition. During the interval, fans throw foamy pucks onto the ice, aiming for the three flags placed around the rink. The closest puck to a flag wins one of our goodie bags, which include a voucher for The Place to Eat.
As part of their ongoing support for the club, The Place to Eat has also launched the brand-new “Breakfast of Champions” wrap — a hearty combination of sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, hash brown, and black pudding. A portion of the proceeds from each wrap will go directly towards supporting the Aberdeen Lynx Junior Development Programme, helping to nurture the next generation of players.
Well-known locally for their fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and friendly service, The Place to Eat continues to be a favourite catering truck for breakfast and lunch in Portlethen.
Darren Robertson, owner of Portlethen’s Place To Eat , shared his thoughts:
“Portlethen’s Place To Eat are again delighted to be involved with the Aberdeen Lynx Ice Hockey Team for the 25/26 season. We admire the grass-roots nature of the club family, community and volunteer spirit. Looking forward to another successful season.”
We’re proud to have their continued support both on and off the ice — from keeping Chuck-A-Puck exciting to fuelling fans and players with their new Breakfast of Champions.
