The excitement is building as the clash between the Aberdeen Predators and the Lossiemouth Jets in a thrilling charity game is fast approaching. Set to take place on August 26th at the Linx Ice Arena, this event promises to be great fun whilst also the making a meaningful difference. We’re thrilled to announce the latest addition to the game, is Kevin Russell!
A Hockey Career Spanning Two Decades
Kevin Russell brings a legacy to the ice, boasting a 20-year career in the SNL league. His journey began with the Perth Panthers, where he carved his path and honed his skills on the rink. He continued his journey with the Aberdeen Alligators (predecessor of the Aberdeen Lynx team) before spending a year showcasing his talents in Inverness. He then spend a nine-year stint with the Elgin team. His contributions to the Elgin squad were undeniable, he led from the front, captaining the team.
Russell’s journey came full circle when he spent two seasons with the Lynx, playing with some of his Alligator team mates before returning to Elgin.
A Night of Charity and Celebration
As the countdown to the charity game continues, anticipation is mounting. The Linx Ice Arena is set to host a great night of hockey which also gives a helping hand to the Archie Foundation. This noble cause underscores the power of sports to unite people and make a positive impact on society.
