This weekend is a big weekend for female ice hockey players from all over the country. A two day camp is being held at the Nottingham arena for trials for the women’s GB seniors, U18s & U16s teams.
It’s a great opportunity for our junior female players who are taking part in the 2 day camp in Nottingham to trial for the GB squads.
At the Lynx we have a number of female players in our junior teams and we are keen to encourage the development of women’s ice hockey and attract more girls to the sport.
Maddison Davison (pictured above) will be making the 8 hour trip to the National Ice Centre in Nottingham this weekend to train and trial with the other Team GB hopefuls.
It’s a great opportunity to meet other girls in the hockey world, learn new skills and experience hockey at an international level.
Good luck to everyone participating in the weekend and hope to see them in Red, White & Blue sometime in the future.
