Aberdeen Lynx are delighted to welcome Sweynsys Ltd as a Premier Player Sponsor for the 2026/27 season, supporting Josh Purvis and Shay Stephen.
With over 18 years of industry experience, Sweynsys Ltd is owned and operated by David Swanson, who specialises in the design, build, installation and maintenance of control and information systems and panels. Drawing on his extensive experience across a range of industries, David delivers reliable and efficient automation solutions with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
David has supported the Lynx for over 10 years and has contributed to the club in a number of ways, including through the Lynx Supporters Club. This season, that support continues through Sweynsys with sponsorship of two players at different stages of their Lynx careers.
Josh Purvis is a hard-working forward who has been an established member of the senior squad for a number of seasons, while Shay Stephen is one of the latest young players to make the step up from Lynx Juniors into the SNL squad.
Speaking about the sponsorship, David said:
“I’m really happy to be supporting Josh and Shay this season. I’ve followed the Lynx for a long time and know the commitment the players put in to play at this level.
“It’s also great to be able to support another young defender moving up from Lynx Juniors and getting his opportunity in the senior team. Seeing players make that progression through the club is something I’m happy to support.”
Aberdeen Lynx would like to thank David and Sweynsys Ltd for supporting Josh and Shay this season, as well as David’s continued support of the club through his work with the Lynx Supporters Club.
