We are proud to announce the two charities chosen for this year’s Aberdeen Lynx Alumni Pre-Season Charity Game— both doing outstanding work in our communities.
💜 Kayleigh’s Wee Stars
Kayleigh’s Wee Stars provides financial support for families where a child has a terminal illness. Since 2012, they’ve supported over 700 families and awarded more than £1 million in grants. The charity works closely with health professionals across Scotland, offering help when it’s needed most — with applications typically processed within 48 hours.
🧡 Mental Health Aberdeen
Mental Health Aberdeen is a local charity offering free counselling and information services to children, young people and adults experiencing mental health challenges. They also deliver training, awareness programmes and volunteering opportunities to improve wellbeing across Aberdeen City and Shire.
All profits from this year’s Alumni Game will be split equally between Kayleigh’s Wee Stars and Mental Health Aberdeen.

As part of the event, we’re calling on YOU to design the special edition charity jerseys to be worn on the night by current and former Lynx players.
We’ve already received some fantastic submissions — but there’s still time to get involved!

The charity jerseys will also be made available via online auction, with proceeds again divided between the two charities.
