Elevate Your Game

Aberdeen Lynx Ice Hockey Club would like to introduce the Lynx Edge Academy, a dedicated new training program focused on advancing player development.

The Lynx Edge Academy provides players with focused, small-group sessions tailored to hone individual skills and give a true competitive edge. Through customised coaching and expert-led training, players can work on everything from foundational skating techniques to advanced hockey skills, all under the guidance of highly qualified coaches.

Our Academy offers targeted training across essential areas

Key Development Areas

Skating Mechanics – Build powerful, efficient movements on the ice
Edge Control – Master balance and precision for dynamic skating
Shot Power & Accuracy – Elevate shooting skills for greater impact
Passing Precision – Develop accuracy and timing for stronger team play
Puck Skill & Creativity – Enhance puck handling and creative play
Compete Level – Learn to push limits and improve in-game intensity
Functional Intelligence – Advance decision-making in real-game situations
Hockey Sense – Boost instinctive play and strategic thinking

Timings

The Lynx Edge Academy will run on Monday mornings between 6am-8am.

Will run as a 8 week block of 1 hour sessions.
