A stunning four-goal game for Jordan Leyden secured a 4-2 win for the Lynx in their first home game of the year.
The victory over Kilmarnock Storm came despite an ill-disciplined game in which the match officials missed a number of calls and handed out two hours worth of penalties.
When the game was allowed to flow unimpeded the sell-out Aberdeen crowd were treated to an entertaining display of physical hockey with talismanic forward Leyden turning in an outstanding performance.
