Aberdeen Lynx are delighted to confirm that Jordan Leyden will return as both Head Coach and Player for the upcoming 2025/26 Scottish National League season.
A key figure both on and off the ice, Jordan’s leadership was instrumental in last season’s success — which saw the Lynx finish on a high by lifting the Playoff Championship trophy. His return provides vital continuity and experience as the team builds toward what promises to be one of the most competitive SNL campaigns yet.
With the addition of two new teams — Solway Sharks and Whitley Warriors — the league is expanding, raising the standard and intensity across the board. Leyden is ready for the challenge and excited about what lies ahead.
“Excited to be back once again. This year is going to be another incredible year — with the addition of two new teams to the league it’s likely going to be one of the most competitive leagues we’ve seen in a long time. Going into my 5th year as player/coach, I’m looking forward to another year helping the team on and off the ice as we look to hopefully add to our growing trophy collection.”
