Lynx U12 skated out at Fife ice arena this afternoon under the guidance of Coach Barry and looking to build on their recent positive progress.
The game started well with the teams looking fairly well matched and the Lynx settled quickly into the game. However, by the end of the 1st period Kirkcaldy had scored 2 quick goals around 8 minutes in.
The 2nd period started strongly for the Lynx and they were clearly looking to pull the game back and had plenty shots on goal. Nonetheless, Kirkcaldy scored after 22 minutes. However, the Lynx replied just 1 minute later with some solid passing and offensive play ending with Jadon Lawrie finding the net.
Despite continued pressure from the Lynx in the 3rd period the game was to end in a 6-1 win to Kirkcaldy.
