We are delighted that the first announcement of the new season is that Fraser MacEachan is returning to the Aberdeen Lynx. Fraser will be supporting the development of the team as he takes up his new position as assistant SNL coach.
We couldn’t imagine the Lynx without Fraser, his years of experience playing in the SNL and commitment to the team will be invaluable in helping build on the success of last season and advance the squad further.
Fraser said, “ I wasn’t sure what I was going to do after stopping playing, but last year I took the team with coach Michael Gibson for a game and really enjoyed it.
I’m happy to be taking steps into coaching and the management side of things, with the set up and players we have we are in for another very exciting and competitive year.
There was no way I wasn’t going to be around the locker room, the guys and the rink just because I wasn’t playing.”
