It’s game day, Lynx fans! We have some important roster updates for tonight’s highly anticipated charity match. Let’s dive into the latest changes and highlights:
Team Updates
Charlie House Team: Unfortunately, Steve McGown is unable to play for the Charlie House team. However, he’ll still be present at the game to sign his jersey, which will be entered into the Charity Shirt Raffle.
Team MND Scotland: We’ve had a few changes to the Team MND Scotland lineup:
- Mark Laing can’t make the game, but Kyle Tait will proudly wear his jersey on the ice. Mark’s jersey will still be available in the auction.
- John Colley, chairperson for Aberdeen Lynx Ice Hockey Club, is facing flight difficulties and won’t be able to join us on time. His shirt will remain in the auction.
Coaching Lineup
Team MND Scotland coaches:
- Leanne McAndrew – Former Lynx and Scotland Coach, and sister of Jonathan Hogan.
- Peter Leyden – Coach and father to Jordan Leyden.
- Steve McGowan – Lynx Alumni who is stepping in as coach as he’s unable to play.
Team Charlie House coaches:
- Owen Michie – Lynx defender who is recuperating after injury.
- Jonathan Hogan – Lynx player who has recently retired from SNL.
Charity Shirt Auction
Don’t miss out on the chance to own a piece of hockey history! The charity shirt auction goes live today at 12 noon, with bidding closing on Friday night.
Tickets Still Available
There are still tickets left for tonight’s game, promising an entertaining match for two excellent causes.
Game Night Entertainment
In addition to the thrilling action on the ice, we’ll have the popular Chuck a Puck contest and possibly some extra on-ice entertainment. You’ll have to be there to find out!
