Forward #55 Jack Durkacz re-signs for the 22-23 season. With his second year as captain with the team Jack will be looking to build on last season’s success. Jack hasn’t been slacking in the off season, he has spend the summer competing in Iron Man challenges and his fitness levels are second to none.
Jack said, “Proud of the group last year and an unreal team to have fot my first year as Captain. Some lapses at times ended up being costly but lots of lessons learned to take into this season. Great to have so many guys back plus a few new additions which really add to our depth. The fans are in for a treat with a new league format and an exciting Lynx team that will always be in the mix. Go cats!”
Coach Jordan Leyden commented, “Jack’s attitude on and off the ice was deserving of his captaincy and he really took it in his stride. With a career year in terms of stats he really picked up his game and lead by example. With him taking on a few iron man’s in the post season I’m sure he’s looking to progress even more and take another step up.”
