The second announcement of the new 22/23 Lynx squad is the return for forward #24 Ben Edmonds for his second year with the Aberdeen Lynx.
Ben took his place within the team last season as assistant captain and his commitment to the side saw him take to the ice for the 18 games played.
Coach Leyden said, “Ben slotted in to the team last year like he’d been there for years. He has skill in abundance but also his off the puck play doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s great news for the team that he is coming back this year and he may be bringing someone else with him…”
Ben commented about his return to the Lynx, “My fellow cats, buzzing to be back with you for another season. I had a blast playing in front of you guys last year, not the desired outcome with missing playoffs but Silverware nonetheless. Hoping me and the boys can really go for a big push for the league, cup AND playoffs this year. Roll on the start of the season and I’ll see you guys at the home opener.”
