We are thrilled to announce that the next Lynx veteran gracing the ice for the Aberdeen Predators vs Lossiemouth Jets charity game is none other than Philip Woolf. With an impressive hockey career spanning 27 years, Philip’s achievements are nothing short of remarkable.
He proudly represented the South African National team for 18 years, even captaining them to their first-ever IIHF medal. His journey in the Premier League in South Africa was followed by a move to the UK, where he played for Altrincham Aces. After another stint in South Africa, Philip returned to the UK, joining Elgin and eventually our very own Lynx. For nearly four seasons, he was part the Lynx as it developed both as a team and as a club, seeing the start of the large crowds of supporters and the creation of what we are today.
After a brief hiatus, Philip returned to the ice, this time for the RAF. He captained the RAF Lossiemouth Jets and currently serves as the assistant captain for the RAF representative team, the Aces. His leadership led both teams to championship victories.
Join us at the Linx Ice Arena this Saturday for a night of exhilarating hockey action. All proceeds from the charity game will benefit the Archie Foundation. Don’t miss out on this fantastic event – BOOK your tickets TODAY and witness a great night of hockey while supporting a fantastic cause!
