Forward #27 Jack Hutton who made a big impact in his first SNL season last year will be returning to the squad but with a delayed start due to injury.
Jack said. “Last season was really good for me as it was my first season back after taking a break from hockey for a while. It was my first senior year as well which helped a lot in getting back into the swing of things. I learned a lot from the more experienced players and the team did really well in the league but there were a few games which could have resulted differently if we had our full strength team. This year there will be a delay in me getting started as I am recovering from an injury, but I’m looking forward to showing the fans and my team mates what I am really capable of and hope to finish this season with a few trophies.”
Coach Jordan Leyden commented, “I was extremely pleased when Jack agreed to come back and play last year. I had pursued him for a while with him having some time away from the game but knew he was wasted not playing and I think last season everyone could see exactly why I wanted him in the team. He was a revelation with his tenacity and maturity for such a young age. Truly deserved his young player of the year award and although he will start the season injured I have no doubt he will come back a stronger.”
