We are thrilled to announce that the Aberdeen Lynx Supporters Club has chosen to sponsor Macauley Armstrong for the 2024 season. This partnership is a perfect match, as Macauley has become a fan favorite over the years, and his dedication on the ice embodies everything the Lynx stand for.
A message from the Supporters Club: “When we decided to sponsor a player again, it didn’t take much discussion to agree on which one. If we started with a checklist, Macauley ticked every box and more. Having come up through Lynx Juniors and played a key role in our Playoff Cup-winning team, many of us still remember the roar of the crowd when he scored his first SNL goal. Macauley gives 110% every shift, making him the perfect example of all the strengths of the Lynx team as a whole.”
The Aberdeen Lynx Supporters Club is easy to spot at both home and away games—they’re the ones with the big drum, keeping the energy high and cheering the team to victory. But their dedication doesn’t stop at game days. They also organise the food bank collection around Christmas, support our themed game nights, and work to grow their membership. This season, they are hoping to organise buses for fans to attend away games, making it easier for Lynx fans to show their support on the road.
